Andrew House, president of Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE), has said that the company is still targeting 15 million PlayStation 3 sales for the end of the year.
Chatting with journalists today, House noted that sales of Sony’s flagship console are slightly ahead of target.
Elsewhere, the executive declined to divulge sales projections for the firm’s new handheld, the PlayStation Vita, though noted the time in which Sony may turn a profit on Vita sales would depend on currency rates.
Vita launches in Japan on December 17, and arrives in Europe and the U.S. on February 22, 2012.
