Sony to blame for Euro PSN delays, says publishers

Publishers have addressed the delayed release of PlayStation Network titles in PAL territories, laying the blame firmly at Sony’s doorstep.

Europeans gamers have still yet to get their hands on a number of acclaimed PSN releases including Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix and Penny Arcade Adventures long after their U.S. and Japanese counterparts.

Discussing the issue with British Gaming, Hothead Games’ Joel De Young stated, "Sony’s process for getting titles on PSN varies in North America, Europe, Japan and the rest of Asia.”

Capcom also chipped in, stating, "That’s a question better directed at the console manufacturers themselves,” telling CVG, "We have nothing further to announce at this time."

Still, Sony has stepped up to the plate and conceded that "this has been an ongoing issue,” before pledging that the company is “doing [its] best to resolve it".
