Stylish snowboarding reboot SSX will be landing in stores across North America on February 14, 2012, Electronic Arts has confirmed. The game was originally pencilled in for release in January.
No U.K. date has been confirmed as of yet, but if we can assume the usual release schedule is in order, then PAL regions will get the game on February 17 – seeing as how games typically launch on a Tuesday and Friday for the U.S. and U.K., respectively.
SSX has players cruising down the slopes of various real-world mountains including those found in the Himalayas and the Antarctic. Level design has been expanded, with less restrictions in place such as the ubiquitous ‘invisible walls’ of previous editions, and a number of familiar characters are also set to make a return.
