Electronic Arts has rolled out a Star Wars Battlefront 2 beta trailer offering a glimpse at what you can expect.

The Star Wars Battlefront 2 beta kicks off on Wednesday, October 4, and includes split-screen cooperative gameplay and space battles.
If you’ve pre-ordered Star Wars Battlefront 2 prior to today, then you’ll gain access to the beta early at 9.00am BST on October 4. Those of you who didn’t pre-order must wait until 9.00am BST on October 6. The beta wraps at 5.00pm BST on October 9.
The trailer for Star Wars Battlefront 2 is pretty much non-stop action, offering a glimpse at various characters including Darth Maul and Rey strutting their stuff. We’re also treated to some epic space battles in action and plenty of light sabre duels.

The Star Wars Battlefront 2 beta includes the Naboo: Theed Battle map and sees the Clone Army and Separatist Droids at war. Game modes include Starfighter and Strike, which are set on Fondor and Takodana, respectively.
In addition, the beta for Battlefront 2 includes a number of challenges and daily rewards to keep you hooked on the action.
The much-anticipated Star Wars Battlefront 2 release date is set for November 17, 2017 on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One.
Developer DICE has made a concerted effort to improve on the failings of the original Star Wars Battlefront. Chief among the improvements includes a full campaign to make up for the lack of a dedicated story mode in the original title.
