Star Wars Battlefront Classic Collection is slated for release on March 14, 2024 for PS5, PS4, PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One. The bundle features remastered version of Star Wars Battlefront and Star Wars Battlefront II, which were among the most celebrated games of their generation.

Relive iconic battles from Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace, Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones, Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope, Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, and Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi in Star Wars Battlefront I’s campaign mode, where you’ll be at the center of the galaxy-shaping events.

Fans of the franchise may recall that a third Star Wars Battlefront game was in development but ultimately cancelled. Back in October 2008, developer Free Radical revealed that they had lost the rights to develop Star Wars Battlefront III, which had been in the works for around two years at the time. The studio’s co-founder Steve Ellis later said the game was “pretty much done” but scrapped when LucasArts failed to commit to splashing out on marketing.
