Niklas Fegraeus, the design director behind Star Wars: Battlefront has posted a blog on the official website in which he states that DICE has great plans for E3. In the post he also reveals that the first gameplay of the the new Battlefront game will be shown, though doesn’t state whether it will just be video footage or whether attendees will be able to go hands-on.
“So tune in starting June 15, because at E3 this year, Star Wars Battlefront gameplay will make its debut and we’re all super excited to show it to you,” writes Fegraeus.

Earlier, in the same blog post, he also confirmed that there’ll be a Fighter Squadron mode, of which a little snippet has been shown in the trailer, where we saw an X-Wing chasing a Tie Fighter across a canyon. The mode reportedly consists of epic Starfight battles over huge canyons which are “big enough to be truly epic.”
He also stated there will be missions, which will contain of various tasks such as testing your pilot skills or taking down armies of A.I. These missions will be available both alone and cooperatively.
As announced earlier, Star Wars: Battlefront will not feature space battles and will not support aiming down the sights.
The game is due for release on November 17, 2015 and will be available on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
