Casey Hudson, the director on Star Wars: Fate of the Old Republic, has moved to quell speculation that the highly anticipated title won’t be out for another four years or so.
Following its reveal during The Game Awards 2025 on Friday, a Q&A on StarWars.com revealed the project is still in the “the early stages” of development, and given that Hudson’s studio, Humanoid Origin, shut down last year while working on an entirely different title, it was assumed Fate of the Old Republic wouldn’t be here for many years. Hudson, however, has dispelled these notions in a post on social media:
Don’t worry about the ‘not till 2030′ rumors. Game will be out before then. I’m not getting any younger!
