Starcraft Returns With A New Story-Driven Open-World Shooter In 2030

Blizzard Entertainment has announced that fan-favourite series STARCRAFT is returning in 2030 with a brand new story-driven open-world shooter.

Set decades after the events of StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void, this brand new entry in the series is a narrative-focussed sci-fi shooter set in the Koprulu sector, although further details are being kept under wraps at present. Obviously it’s still very early days as the game isn’t set to launch for another four years yet, but fans can register for updates on the newly-revamped StarCraft.com.

STARCRAFT is launching in 2030 for unannounced platforms, although we can safely assume that we’re looking at a PS6 and Xbox Helix release given the timeframe.
