Retro-style first-person shooter Starship Troopers: Ultimate Bug War! is coming to PS5, PC, Nintendo Switch 2, and Xbox Series X/S in 2026, Dotemu and Auroch Digital have announced.
Starship Troopers: Ultimate Bug War! Has players stepping up to join the Mobile Infantry to help save guard Earth from the Arachnid menace, which has spread far beyond the confines of their home planet, Klendathu, and invaded human territory. Seeing the action through the eyes of Sammy, you’ll equip yourself with a variety of devastating weapon to blast, dismember and generally blow the crap out of hordes of Arachnid warriors, all presented in retro-flavoured aesthetics.

There’s over 30 weapons to unleash on your bug foes, including the Morita rifle, tactical nukes, mechanical bipeds, and more, while experiencing an original story that features the legend himself, General Jonny Rico, played by Casper Van Dien. The solo campaign will see you leading your squad across massive battlefields, dispatching hordes of bugs while taking on missions and uncovering secrets within.
