Speaking during an interview with RULIWEB, Shift Up CEO and Director, Kim Hyeong-tae revealed that the upcoming Stellar Blade will take players around 25 hours to finish its main campaign.
Hyeong-tae added that players looking to achieve 100% completion in Stellar Blade can expect to put more time into the game, estimating about 30 — 50 hours of playtime.
It is not that issues were discovered during the inspection process, but the release was delayed a bit due to the polishing process. Playtime is expected to be about 25 hours for the main story and 30 to 50 hours for all the collection elements.
Stellar Blade takes place in the near future, where humanity has lost a war to alien invaders known as Naytiba and have been forced to flee Earth. In order to reclaim the planet, protagonist Eve and her squad are dispatched to the Colony to fight the invaders and reestablish a foothold on Earth. Stellar Blade utilises a third-person viewpoint and focuses on battling enemies by learning their attack patterns and countering with precise strikes.
Stellar Blade is due for release on April 26, 2024 for PS5.
