Streaming media from Mac to PS3 now easier

For all you Mac owners looking for a better way to stream media to your PlayStation 3, Cynical Peak Software’s new Rivet 2.1 will improve performance and stability. The new version of Rivet costs $19, but the upgrade is free for registered users.

Simply install the software on your Mac and use Rivet to stream (unprotected) music, photos and videos to your PS3. The latest version of Rivet includes Italian and Spanish language localizations and improves the French localization.

Rivet enables everyone to quickly browse and view their entire collection of digital media, like their iTunes library or photos from E3, from anywhere in the house on their PS3. The Mac’s folder structure and organization is completely reproduced to allow you to quickly find exactly what you want to view.

Really, who doesn’t want a nice collection of booth babes on their flat screen TV?
