Legendary Pictures’ Street Fighter movie is reportedly tapping a number of major stars including Roman Reigns and Jason Momoa, according to a report on Deadline.
In addition to the above, it’s also reported that Andrew Koji and Noah Centineo are being lined up to feature in the latest adaptation of Capcom’s fighting game franchise.
Details on the film’s plot are being kept under wraps at present, and back in February it was reported that Kitao Sakurai is set to direct the Street Fighter film. Legendary Pictures acquired the TV and film rights to the Street Fighter IP in April 2023, and is being co-produced and co-developed alongside Capcom.

The original Street Fighter movie was released in 1994 and featured Jean-Claude Van Damme as Colonel Guile, Raul Julia as M. Bison, Kylie Minogue as Cammy, and Damian Chapa as Ken. The movie was notably panned by critics but was a box office success, and in the passing years sine its release has become something of a cult classic — one of those ‘so bad, it’s good’ films, if you like.
