Five pieces of stunning concept art for Naughty Dog’s upcoming action-adventure title Uncharted 4 have surfaced some two weeks ahead of the official release of the developer’s art book.
The images, seen below, detail an array of locations, from a partially sunken town, to a weather-beaten island. There’s even room for a take on an Atlantis-of-sorts underwater city. Given their state it’s doubtful the locales will feature in the PS4-exclusive – but given their potential here’s to hoping.
Celebrating the developer’s 30-year stretch at the forefront of gaming consciousness the art book showcases some truly breathtaking concept art from some of the best-loved series around, like manic marsupial Crash Bandicoot to Jak & Daxter.
Founded back in 1984 by Andy Gavin and Jason Rubin, Naughty Dog, inc. (formally JAM) has climbed to the upper echelons of gaming esteem, cementing itself as one of the best first-party developers in the business.
