The 2025 release window for Ghost of Yotei has been reconfirmed by Sucker Punch Productions‘ senior communications manager.
Speaking on X, Andrew Goldfarb revealed that Sucker Punch is looking for an “experienced community and support specialist to help us launch Ghost of Yotei this year.”

Set in the year 1603, Ghost of Yotei focuses on female warrior Atsu as she adopts ‘The Ghost’ persona and is set in the lands surrounding Mount Yotei, which is a towering peak in the heart of Japan’s Hokkaido region. Unlike the organised samurai clans that took up residence in the events of Ghost of Tsushima, set some 300 years before, the setting in Ghost of Yotei is filled with sprawling greenery, snowy tundras, and unexpected danger.
