Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League Deluxe Edition Players Are Getting $20 Worth Towards In-Game Store Content To Make Up For Launch Issues

Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League launched to players who paid for the early access deluxe edition, and then an hour later it was gone, servers offline.

Rocksteady took the game down to address a bug where players would have the entire game’s story completed upon opening the game for the first time.

This resulted in hours of downtime in maintenance, which continued for far longer than Rocksteady, and players, would have presumably liked it to.

As a way to make-up for the six hours of downtime, Rocksteady sent a message in-game to players that told them as a token of appreciation for their “patience,” 2,000 LuthorCoins, the in-game store’s premium currency, had been gifted to them.

“We recognize that you’ve been patient with us during our initial launch server updates and we’d like to show our appreciation for your patience with a special gift of 2,000 LuthorCoins. Thank you again!”

2,000 LuthorCoins would otherwise run you $20, which nearly covers the extra dollars players put down for the deluxe edition versus the standard edition.
