Suicide Squad Kill The Justice League Dev Says It’s ‘Easily Our Biggest Game’ In Terms Of Story

Speaking during an interview with PLAY Magazine, Rocksteady‘s Product Director, Darius Sadeghian revealed that Suicide Squad: The Justice League is “easily our biggest game in terms of story.”

It’s still full of the DNA that infuses the Batman: Arkham series – those foundations of story and character are absolutely central to our process. Story-wise, this is easily our biggest game.

Rocksteady had previously worked on the Batman Arkham franchise, which comprised of 2009’s Batman: Arkham Origins, 2011’s Batman Arkham City, and 2015’s Batman Arkham Knight. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is its first major game since Arkham Knight, although went through numerous creative changes and was delayed from its initial release window of May 2023.

Over the weekend the studio teased that it will add Joker-themed DLC to the game during a lengthy explanation of Suicide Squad’s endgame plans.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is pencilled in for release on February 2, 2024 for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S.
