Geoff Keighley has announced that Summer Game Fest will return for another year, kicking off in June 2022 with a live show.

Excited to share that @SummerGameFest will return this June with a slate of events. We’ll be producing another Kickoff Live show with announcements, news and first looks. Much more to share in the coming weeks, along with some very cool new elements for ’22.

Summer Game Fest launched in 2020, the same year that E3 was cancelled for the first time due to the coronavirus pandemic. It returned again last year, and each time played host to a range of exclusive reveals, gameplay footage, and developer interviews.
Keighley understandably isn’t sharing much more info at this point, but we can surely expect the same sort of thing this year.
