Bandai Namco PS4 Summer Horror Project

Summer Horror Project Teased By Bandai Namco As New Horror Game

summer horror project

Bandai Namco has launched an ominous new teaser site called Summer Horror Project. The single web-page depicts a Japanese-style home and a (long-time?) neglected yard beneath a darkened orange sky. It appears to show found footage from a camcorder.

Clicking the social share icons on the bottom left, or inspecting the source code of the site provides a few hints, but not many. Clues suggest the project is zombie-related as the words Horror and Zombie appear as the meta keywords.

The meta description, in Japanese, reads: A mysterious site emerges? Something happens this summer…

There’s a suggestion that the play button on the top right of the page may become interactive on August 30. If the timestamp at the bottom is any indication the change should happen around the 4 p.m., presumably Japanese Standard Time.

What Is Summer Horror Project?

The only other obvious clues appear in the bottom right of the screen with the words domas-Scene 1. Domas could refer to the game title, considering the URL also features that word, though it could be a red-herring. A quick Google search of Domas reveals that it could be Latin, referring to the present form of domar in the second person singular. Domar means to tame.

Scene 1 also suggests there may be more scenes to show ahead of the reveal of the Summer Horror Project later this month. There’s also some a cryptic clue in the bottom right, with a battery icon to the left. Check it out below.
