SPOILER ALERT: Do not read on if you don’t want to know who the character is! Seriously, we’ve warned you; now you can’t angrily yell at us.

Now that we’ve got that out of the way, we’re happy to reveal that Raiden of Metal Gear Solid fame—or infamy, if you’re still bitter about MGS2—will be joining the cast of Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood as an unlockable character skin. A tipster sent Joystiq two photos showing the cyborg ninja in the game, claiming Raiden will be unlocked upon the completion of all of the exercises in the new Animus "virtual training" mode.
Ubisoft and Konami have collaborated similarly in the past, revealing Assassin’s Solid as an April Fool’s joke a little over two years ago. While the full game "Assassin’s Solid" was a joke, Altair’s outfit did indeed appear in Metal Gear Solid 4.
Anyway, gamers will once again have their hands on a playable Raiden well before MGS: Rising debuts sometime next year.
