At this past weekend’s Dengeki Bunko Fall Festival in Akihabara district of Tokyo, Japan, Bandai Namco announced the release of a PlayStation 4 Sword Art Online: Game Director’s Edition Aincrad Model console, available in Jet Black or Glacier White color schemes.
The special edition PS4 comes out on November 19 in Japan alongside Sword Art Online: Game Director’s Edition, which contains the PS4 versions of SAO: Lost Song (physical) and SAO: Re: Hollow Fragment (digital code).
Pre-orders are now open on the official Sony Japan online store and will cost you 42,980 yen (about $359 or €319 or £234).
A new game in the franchise titled Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization was also announced at the event and will launch in 2015 for the PS4 and PS Vita.
SAO: Lost Song releases in North America on November 17 and in Europe on November 13 for the PlayStation 4 and Vita. The action RPG is set in the fairy-themed world of ALfheim Online and features flight traversal, a three-character party system, and multiplayer.
