Tales Of Kenzera: ZAU, a new action platformer that’s the debut title for Surgent Studios, is arriving later this month on April 23, 2024.
On Tuesday, we learned that when it does launch, it’ll do so right into the PlayStation Plus Extra Game Catalog, so players subscribed to the PS Plus Extra tier (or higher) will be able to jump right in, at no additional cost.
The news was announced with a PlayStation Blog post, which also gave a quick rundown about what players can expect in Tales Of Kenzera: ZAU.
Surgent Studios was founded by actor Abubakar Salim, who players will recognize from games like Assassin’s Creed Origins as the protagonist Bayek and a number of other roles. Salim will also be voicing Tales Of Kenzera’s main character, Zau.
Tales Of Kenzera: ZAU takes inspiration from Salim’s own life and experience with grief and loss, weaving what looks to be an impactful story with some equally intense and impactful gameplay.
If you’re already subscribed to the PS Plus Extra tier or higher, then you have every reason to give Tales Of Kenzera: ZAU a try.
Also announced today, when Dave The Diver hits PlayStation, it’ll also be available in the PS Plus Extra Game Catalog.
