Namco Tales Studios’ 2011 RPG Tales of Xillia is officially getting enhanced for modern platforms, Bandai Namco Entertainment has announced. Headed by DokiDoki Grooveworks, Tales of Xillia Remastered is launching on October 31, 2025 for PS5, PC, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Series X/S complete with a host of improvements over the original PS3 version.
Tales of Xillia Remastered follows the path of Millia and Jude as the duo venture through a wondrous land known as Rieze Maxia, where mankind and spirits have learned to coexist in harmony. Players will get to grips with the Dual Raid Linear Motion Battle System, which allows you to team up with allies to unleash highly damaging combo attacks throughout pulse-pounding real-time battles.

Taking the original PS3 as a foundation, this remastered release adds various quality-of-life updates such as enhanced visuals, an auto-save feature, a toggle option for enemy encounters, early access to the show, and more. In addition, Tales of Xillia Remastered packs in all DLC that was available the original version of the game, such as costumes, useful time and other extra goodies (though the press blurb notes that select licensed DLC is not featured).
Tales of Xillia Remastered comes out on Oct. 31 for PS5, PC, Switch, and Xbox Series X/S. The original version of the game arrived in Japan in 2011 and was then localised for the US and European markets two years later.
