Dead or Alive 5 developer Team Ninja has revealed a few new tidbits on the upcoming brawler during a recent Q&A session with Free Step Dodge & Ripten.
In response to fan questions sent in by both sites, the studio first addressed the subject of Tag mode, which has remained a staple of the franchise since its inception.
“Tag has always been a part of DoA, and we’re not going to start selling it separately now,” said the firm. “We are also considering new fighting systems in addition to Tag mode as well.”
In regards to recording and sharing replays, Team Ninja said that nothing concrete has been confirmed as of yet.
“I think that different people want different things from replays in Dead or Alive. We are still thinking about what would make the best approach. We’ll let you know when we have something more concrete.”
There’s more through the link. Dead or Alive 5 is due out on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 later this year.
