Tecmo Koei confirms English & Japanese audio for Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge & Dead or Alive 5 Plus

Tecmo Koei has confirmed via their Facebook page that both the upcoming PlayStation 3 game Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge and PlayStation Vita game Dead or Alive 5 Plus will have both English and Japanese audio options.

This news comes after the controversial choice of only including the English audio for the release of the Tecmo Koei published Japanese role-playing game Atelier Ayesha. Text options of both these Team Ninja games will be in English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, and Japanese.

Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge is an enhanced port of the Wii U game, which was already an expanded version of Ninja Gaiden 3. Dead or Alive 5 Plus, a PS Vita port of the PS3 fighting game, features cross-play and a first-person touch-based fighting mode.

Hopefully this sets a precedent for future Tecmo Koei releases and that other publishers of foreign games take note. Stay tuned to PSU for more on Japanese games and more.
