A follow up to Ninja Gaiden II hasn’t actually been announced yet, but Tecmo Koei is still keen for us to know one thing – when it does eventually pop up, the next instalment in the gore ‘em up will be “spectacular.”
Speaking with the folks at CVG, the firm’s senior managing director, Yoshiki Sugiyama, commented: "Ninja Gaiden is such a beloved and important franchise for us and fans expect such great things from the next instalment that we need to indulge in a little nurturing.”
"If and when we talk about a new Ninja Gaiden, it will be spectacular."
It’s worth mentioning that this will be the first major Ninja Gaiden title not developed by Tomonobu Itagaki, who worked on the original title and its sequel before resigning from Tecmo’s Team Ninja back in 2008.
