Bandai Namco Games has announced that Tekken 7 will introduce Ultimate Tekken Bowl later this summer.
The DLC is an updated version of the fan-favorite Tekken Bowl mode from 2000’s Tekken Tag Tournament on PS2, and sees the game’s eclectic cast of combatants taking to the lanes for some comical bowling antics. In addition to this new mode, Namco also confirmed that an extra costume pack will launch alongside Ultimate Tekken Bowl this August.

Tekken 7 was released in June for PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One. The game features a full-fledged story mode focusing on the exploits of the Mishima family, which sees Kazuya and Heihachi going head-to-head in one final epic punch-up. The game also introduces a wealth of new characters, including Shaheen, Lucky Chloe, Gigas, Katarina, Josie, and more, while maintaining classics such as Paul, King, Nina, Jin, and Marshall Law.
This latest entry in the classic fighting game series also introduces a number of new gameplay mechanics, chief among which includes the new Rage feature. Players will be able to utilise their Rage meter tactically by employing new Rage Arts and Rage Drive moves, which deliver powerful attacks that can turn the tide of battle if used correctly. Elsewhere, the new Power Crush feature allows you to smack your opponent with a powerful strike even if they attack at the same time, while the Tailspin leaves your victim vulnerable to extended juggles.
