A whole bunch of Tekken 7 related news has escaped from The King of the Iron Fist Tournament 2015 Championship Finals.
First off, the game now has a new official title – Tekken 7: Fated Retribution. The new subtitle is more than just a name change though, as it actually heralds the first major update that the game has had since its release in arcades a few months back.
The update itself brings with it hugely improved visuals, a whole host of new costumes and most interestingly, the addition of a brand new character to the roster – none other than the Street Fighter’s very own crimson demon, Akuma.
Tekken 7 was confirmed for release in 2016 on PS4 earlier on in the year and as per that news report, the PS4 version will be the ‘most complete’ iteration of the game; strongly indicating that this major update (and likely any that happen afterward), will feature in the PS4 edition of Tekken 7.
