Tekken 7 introduces two new characters, rage system confirmed

A fresh batch of Tekken 7 details have surfaced following the game’s arcade test launch in Japan, including confirmation of two new fighters (via MaxLevel).

First up, Namco Bandai’s latest brawler will once again utilize the Rage system, which gives a character a boost in power once their health is severely depleted.

Not only that, but it seems Tekken 7 will introduce a new tech move, which allows you to counter an opponent’s blow at the cost of losing some health.

Elsewhere, Tekken.net features have been confirmed, with the ranking system returning to the fold, as well as a variety of costumes, including a gothic-style makeover for Lili and extreme hairstyle for Paul.

Characters so far confirmed include Kazuya, Heihachi, Lars, Asuka, Lili, Alisa, Paul, Law, Ling, King, Dragonov, Brian, Leo, Feng, Steve Fox, and Hwoarang. New combatants include Catalina and Claudio.

Tekken 7 has yet to receive a release date for home consoles, though will begin testing in Japanese arcades this year.
