The PS4 Pro version of Tekken 7 features a ‘noticeable difference in graphical quality’ over the standard version of the upcoming fighting game sequel, series producer Katsuhiro Harada has revealed.
Speaking during an interview with IGN, Harada-san noted that while Microsoft is remaining coy on Xbox Scorpio support for Tekken 7, the PS4 Pro edition of the hotly anticipated brawler looks set to up the ante in the visual department, something which he hopes players will take advantage of.

“Microsoft hasn’t really announced many details about Scorpio yet, so there isn’t a whole lot we can say about that, and then, for the PS4 Pro, the only thing we can say is there is a noticeable difference in the graphical quality, so for those people who have a PS4 Pro, we hope that you’ll play the game on that platform,” he said.
Tekken 7 is scheduled for release on PS4, PC, and Xbox One, with PS VR support also available for Sony’s flagship home console. The game features a number of new features, including Rage Arts and Tailspin attacks, plus introduces a host of fresh faces such as the series’ first ever Saudi Arabian combatant, Shaheen. The storyline focuses on the conclusion of the long-running Mishima family feud, which sees Heihachi and Kazuya battling it out following the reappearance of Kazumi Mishima, who was previously thought to have been killed at Heihachi’s hands.
