Tekken 7 is scheduled for release on PS4, PC, and Xbox One in early 2017. The game will also be compatible with PlayStation VR.

The game is the first mainline series entry in the venerable fighting franchise since 2009’s Tekken 6 on PS3 and Xbox 360. Tekken 7’s storyline will revolve around the lengthy Mishima family feud, which sees Heihachi and son Kazuya battling it out in a final bloody war.

In terms of gameplay mechanics, Tekken 7 introduces a new spin on the Bound system introduced in Tekken 6, known as the Tailspin. The aim is to allow players to extend juggles while not going to the extreme lengths that were possible in the last few titles.

Tekken 7 also expands the roster with a number of all-new characters, such as Lucky Chloe, Shaheen, Kazumi Mishima, and many more. Players can also look forward to the return of series staples such as Nina, Law, Paul, King, and Jin.
