Bandai Namco Games has released the first Tekken 8 DLC character in the form of Eddy Gordo, who is available to download for $7.99 following early access released for Character Year 1 Pass holders on April 1.
Introduced in Tekken 3, Eddy is a capoeira master that employs a large move set packed with stances and mixups, making him quite a complicated character to play let alone master. He often traded places with Christie throughout the years while sharing a similar repertoire, and had an alter-ego, Tiger Jackson, in Tekken 3 as a hidden costume.

Tekken 8 will receive three additional characters this year as part of its Year 1 DLC schedule, although right now we have no idea who they will be. Personally, I think Armor King has a good chance of making the roster, with Bob or Miguel also possible candidates.
Beyond this year, it’s anyone’s guess as to who could appear. Quite a few of Tekken 7’s newcomers haven’t showed up yet, but seem to have been replaced by existing characters. For example, Josie and Lucky Chloe have been assimilated into Azucena, while Lidia looks to have been supplanted by Reina, who uses a lot of stance-based pressure.
