EVO 2023 played host to hands-on sessions for Tekken 8 over the weekend, and images taken from the booth appear to have confirmed that the recent roster leak was indeed the real deal.
The base roster for Tekken 8 was previously leaked via Cheat Engine for the PC, and showcased a number of fan-favourite characters including Alisa, Dragunov, Feng, Yoshimitsu and others that have as yet not been announced.
Now, an image circulating from EVO showcases the in-game UI for Steve Fox, which matches that of his profile picture in the leaked roster. While Bandai Namco games hasn’t confirmed Steve yet, it’s very unlikely he won’t be featured in the game given his popularity.
Tekken 8 is currently in development for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S, although a release date has ye to be announced. The game’s Closed Network Test recently wrapped up for all three platforms, which offered Cross-Play during its final weekend.
