Bandai Namco has Phoenix-Smashed a brand new Tekken 8 gameplay trailer into the stratosphere today, this time looking at Mr. Toughest in the Universe himself – Paul Phoenix!
Paul has featured in every single Tekken game released to date, and is one of many veteran brawlers returning for this latest bout, alongside Kazuya Mishima, Jin Kazama and Nina Williams. He’s best known for being a hot-headed fighter and his copious use of hair product, although in his advancing years it seems Paul has decided to let his hair down – literally.
Paul fans will be pleased to see that many of his moves from Tekken 7 returns, although he’s got way more up his sleeves this time thanks to the new Heat system. Check out the trailer below.
Tekken 8 is currently in development for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S with a release date yet to be announced.
