Bandai Namco Entertainment has debuted a scrumptious cinematic trailer for Tekken 8 during The Game Awards 2022.
The trailer confirms the return of a number of legacy characters, including Paul Phoenix, Marshall Law, King, Jack-8, and of course the previously-confirmed Kazuya and Jin. Most surprising however is the long-awaited return of Jun Kazama, who hasn’t appeared canonically since Tekken 2.

Now, the blood feud continues as father and son clash once more, with Kazuya facing off against Jin Kazama.
The development team are taking full advantage of the power of current-generation consoles, with the visuals receiving a huge overhaul compared to the game’s predecessor. Sadly, no release date has been announced yet, but hopefully it’ll make it out in 2023.
Tekken 8 is currently in development for PS5, PC and Xbox Series X/S.
