Bandai Namco has announced the latest playable character for Tekken 8, and it’s none other than Emilie De Rochefort, aka Lili.
Fans will remember that Lili was introduced in Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection, and has a long-standing rivalry with Asuka Kazama. She’s a rich lass, and has her own butler, Sebastian, who was also made a playable character in Tekken Tag Tournament 2.
Lili is back in Tekken 8 and appears to be as you remember, only this time she has a pet cat, Salt, who she appears to be looking for. We’re not sure if Salt can attack her opponents like Leroy’s peg pooch, Sugar, but anything is possible at this point.
Tekken 8 is currently in development for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S, with a release date yet to be announced. Bandai Namco has already hosted Alpha tests for the game during various tournaments, and series boss Katsuhiro Harada has said that Cross-Play will be featured in Tekken 8.
