Bandai Namco Games has confirmed during the Tekken World Tour 2023 Finals that Eddy Gordo will be the first DLC character for Tekken 8 Season 1 in Spring 2024. Furthermore, the studio also lifted the lid on the Tekken 8 intro, with Eddy’s teaser coming after.
Eddy made his debut in Tekken 3 and is one of the most unique fighters in the series thanks to his use of capoeira, although he has been accused in the past of being something of a button-mashing character as he’s popular with newcomers who like to spam kicks. That said, using him at a high level is difficult, and as far as tier lists go, Eddy wasn’t one of the strongest characters in Tekken 7.
