Bandai Namco Games is still no closer to pinning a release date on the elusive Tekken x Street Fighter.
Speaking to the latest issue of OPM UK, Tekken 7’s Senior Game Designer, Michael Murray, confirmed the crossover fighting game is still in the pipeline, but wouldn’t go into any further details on the matter.
“It’s still in development, but as far as a release window we haven’t really decided on that,” commented Murray.
Tekken x Street Fighter was announced back in 2010 alongside companion title Street Fighter x Tekken. However, while the latter has been out for a few years now on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, Namco’s crossover effort has yet to see the light of day and we’ve see little on the project besides some concept art.
With Tekken 7 the main focus right now however, we doubt that Namco will have much to say on the game until 2017 at the earliest.
