Tetris: The Grand Master Console Ports Are Reportedly On The Way

The vice president of Arika has seemingly outed console ports of Tetris: The Grand Master in a now-deleted tweet, revealing an announcement “had to be withheld for reasons beyond our control.”

According to the tweet, the ports of Tetris: The Grand Master will be based on the arcade games, although if they’re a success it seems we’ll also be getting a new entry in the franchise, too. A quote reads that the licensor “has made it conditional on the success of these ports.”

For those out of the loop, Tetris: The Grand Master was released in Japanese arcades and are notorious for their difficulty, but have remained popular since the late 1990s.
