Square Enix has released a sneak peek trailer for the upcoming Final Fantasy XI add-on scenario, “A Shantotto Ascension – The Legend Torn, Her Empire Born.” This third scenario in a series of add-on packs will be released later this year via will the PlayOnline Viewer.
The storyline of this scenario follows the eccentric Professor Shantotto upon her return to Windurst, and her proclamation that she is the ruler of her own empire. You’ll be tasked with discovering the truth behind her shift in personality, and her mysterious absence.
