EA puts out a host of sports games every year, and being in Japan, we got to see some of the cool Japan-only franchises. FIFA 14 stood above the rest because it looked and felt like EA actually cared, instead of re-hashing the same series lazily. The control and flow of the match felt more realistic, the collision engine looked great, and the amount of detail put into the character models demonstrated that extra bit of care. Companies can easily get lazy with the crowds, but this showed off the graphical power of PS4 with a diverse array of character models. Put it on a nice big screen and welcome to an awesome show.
