Developer Paralune LLC has announced that Mythic Ocean will launch for PS4 on January 1, 2022.
Mythic Ocean is billed as a narrative exploration title, which combines dialogue-focused similar to visual novels with free-roaming exploration. Your character has befriended a parthenon of gods under the sea, and it’s up to you to help them find themselves and make choices that all shape the creation of a new world.
You’ll engage in deep conversations with the gods, and your choices will have far-reaching consequences on the fate of the universe. All of this is complemented by a diverse, peaceful underwater environments to explore, populated by ‘tons of goofy, charming creatures.’
While your choices are important, Mythic Ocean doesn’t punish you; there’s no deaths, no combat, and not failure. Your challenge is influencing the gods itself to get the result you want — and this can include anything from harmony and pandemonium.
