The choice of class, specialization and the beginning of the game in Destiny 2, the main goals of the players

To plunge into the atmosphere of space, battles with aliens, but remain in the shooter genre and experience the social aspect of interactions with other players, you should try Destiny 2 for yourself – a project from the Bungie studio, which became famous for the first part and the Halo series.

What is Destiny 2 about?

Destiny 2 captures a period of the distant future, when humanity has already actively declared itself and explores space and other planets of the solar system, which leads to interest in the planet Earth from aliens who begin the invasion.

The player will have to choose their game class, learn how to shoot and actively use their weapons, competently move and pump over to become stronger and participate in vivid battles against the invaders that unfold with the release of each new major update.

The release of Lightfall brought players the opportunity to continue to explore new planets and establish communications with local NPCs, while not forgetting the defense of their home planet and learning new tools to complete their tasks.

You have to choose and develop one of the three proposed game classes to contribute to the development of the game story, or order the destiny 2 boost and go straight to the interesting final part and the battle with the key bosses of the current update.

Game classes and their specializations

In total, in the world of Destiny 2, three playable characters are concentrated, which you can play and choose as the main one. The account is designed for three heroes, so you can fully test each one and make your choice before putting a lot of effort into leveling it and getting equipment.

To begin with, you select a class and go through training – in total, Titan, Warlock and Hunter are available to you.

Subclasses are worth mentioning right away – this is a type of character development that is available to each of them, but has a different effect on the role and use of skills. You can choose lightning, sun, void, and with the release of the Lightfall update, also a Stand.

Titan

A defensive type fighter who can use ranged weapons and steel fists to attack or defend himself and his allies.

This is a full-fledged tank that is able to absorb more damage than similar classes without critical damage to its health.

You can always set up a blocking shield that will save the character and all allies from direct incoming damage, but still leave dangerous areas from the flanks and rear, so you should always be careful and vigilant so as not to miss a detour or a grenade.

At the moment, the most optimal subclass is considered to be lightning or a stand, which allow you to make a formidable melee weapon out of a defensive shooter.

Lightning allows you to periodically attack random opponents who come too close, even if at that moment you hold the shield.

The stand allows you to install small bayonets on steel fists and apply a bleeding effect to all opponents with whom you will be in close contact, and given that the Titan can hit the ground and hook several opponents at once, this can be an interesting combination for AoE skills followed by a negative an effect that permanently takes away health.

Warlock

This is a combined class that can be both an attack and defense character, it all depends on your specialization.

If you go the damage path, you can attack enemies with the power of ranged weapons and use magic to deal heavy AoE damage.

If you take the support path, you will still use small arms for attacks, but your skills will be based on strengthening allies and healing them by creating special wells – zones, while in which all allies will receive healing and buffs.

Of the subclasses, you should choose the Stand, or the void, but you should understand that this enhancement works more for attacking parameters and a similar type of use of the hero.

The stand will allow you to fire volleys into the sky, which will crumble into many small balls and create a shrapnel effect, covering large areas with strong AoE damage.

Void works on a similar principle, but instead of spreading any effects, it simply fills the Warlock’s already not weak AoE damage with the power of the void and significantly increases the damage dealt to all affected targets.

Hunter

This is an attacking class with the maximum possible range of combat and the use of the hero as both a sniper and a melee fighter – the hunter is excellent with daggers and uses grenades as a source of damage and disguise.

According to statistics, it is the hunter class that prevails over other heroes in terms of the number of choices.

The hunter can also be used as a full-fledged sniper, especially if you choose the sun subclass as the main direction of development.

This path will allow you to concentrate the energy of a bright star and deliver powerful shots at the target, ignoring most of the target’s defensive potential. This makes the hunter an excellent raiding unit.

Starting path

In any case, you will have to go through compulsory training, but you should not draw conclusions in advance – this is a comprehensive training in movement and shooting, the use of shelters and grenades, an understanding of the basic mechanics and features of the chosen class, and a gradual transition to the quest system.

Quests

Get used to Destiny 2’s storytelling straight away through the quest system as the game developers from Bungie gradually teach players how to use their basic skills, improve their shooting skills and progress in the levels and quality of the equipment and weapons used.

At the beginning, the tasks will not be difficult and fixated on moving between NPCs and killing their first monsters, but gradually the tasks will become more complicated and require a lot of effort from the player to complete the quests.

As a reward, you will receive experience, glimmers – the local currency of Destiny 2, and periodically equipment and consumables.

Grind

All impatient players can ignore most of the quests except for the introductory ones and immediately go to locations with monsters for leveling by simply killing monsters.

Grinding helps you earn more game coins and resources, which always fall out from most monsters, provided that the experience value between you and the enemies is equal, but a difference of a couple of levels in both directions is allowed, and if the monsters exceed your level, then the reward and experience gain will be the maximum value.

Beginners should stick with the concept of quests for the first time, at least until they are relatively familiar with the game content and understand the most effective way to level
