Ubisoft’s number crunchers have been busy dissecting the recent closed beta for Tom Clancy’s The Division and come up with some rather interesting stats for you to digest.
For starters, those of you who took place in the PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One teaser for the upcoming shooter-RPG played a startling 6,887,218 games, which yielded a staggering 298,031,224 kills.
In terms of weapons, players favored the M4 to dispatch their opponents, although there were still a fair amount of grenades lobbed during combat—9,288,002 to be precise.

The Division is pencilled in for a worldwide release on PS4, PC, and Xbox One on March 8. However, there’s an open beta lined up prior to launch, which kicks off for Sony console owners on February 19 and runs until February 21. You can download the beta client in advance from February 16.
Developed by Ubisoft Massive in conjunction with the industry giant’s Annecy and Reflections studios, The Division takes place in New York City, U.S., following the outbreak of a mysterious diseases on Black Friday. In just five days, the government collapses as the pandemic spreads, with supplies such as food and water cut off to survivors, resulting in widespread chaos.
Players form part of the Strategic Homeland Division (SHD), a specialised group who live seemingly ordinary lives but are given authority by the United States government to combat various threats caused by the disease, and help to get society back on its feet by whatever means necessary.
