The Division, Rainbow Six Siege reconfirmed for 2015 release

Ubisoft has reiterated that it will release Tom Clancy’s The Division and Rainbow Six Siege in 2015.

The French publisher took to its official Facebook page to confirm a 2015 release date for both titles, following a period of silence and ambiguity surrounding the duo’s launch window.

"We’ve got two Clancy games coming this year… Which one are YOU most excited for? Rainbow Six Siege or The Division?” it wrote.

The Division was announced at E3 2013, and takes place in a post-apocalyptic setting in the U.S. following the outbreak of a mysterious illness on Black Friday. The game takes the form of an MMO-style third-person shooter for PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One.

Meanwhile, Rainbow Six Siege takes over from the cancelled Rainbow Six Patriots, and marks the first-person shooter series’ debut on PS4 and Xbox One. The game was announced at last year’s E3 convention, though little on the title has been shown thus far.
