Tom Clancy’s The Division has debuted at no.1 on the U.K. All Format Chart, smashing records previously held by Gran Turismo 4 to become the biggest-selling Q1 release of all time in the country.
Publisher Ubisoft had previously confirmed that the action-shooter/RPG had become its biggest video game release of all time worldwide, besting previous record holder Watch_Dogs. It didn’t quite reach those heights in Blightly though, sitting in third behind Watch_Dogs and Assassin’s Creed 3.
Nonetheless, The Division still proved a huge success in the U.K., with the lion’s share going to the PlayStation 4 version at 54 percent and the Xbox One copy taking 45 percent.
Meanwhile, Street Fighter V continues its seemingly inexorable journey to the lower reaches of the Top 40, dropping from 11 to 22 just four weeks after its release on PS4 and PC.
