The Evil Within is going to be scary, we already know that, but just how terrifying will it be?
Well, judging by Sony’s latest comments on its weekly blogcast, we have reason to be very afraid of Shinji Mikami’s latest project. SCEA Social Media Specialist Ryan Clementssays that his co-worker was so scared he had to switch it off.
Speaking on the blogcast with host Sid Shuman, the pair talked about the game’s imminent release on PS3 and PS4 next week when Ryan said, “Here’s some early buzz from a fellow co-worker. The game was so terrifying he had to turn it off after 20 minutes!”
Of course we don’t know whether he’s the kind of guy who simply has a low scare threshold, but judging by some of the trailers that are doing the rounds, The Evil Within really could be the scariest game to hit PlayStation platforms this year.
The latest trailer shows how the enemies in The Evil Within can end your life in a blink of an eye. The following video show you exactly how you won’t survive if you’re not careful.
The Evil Within launches on PS3 and PS4 on October 14, 2014.
