After huge announcements last month on the pre-order beta and last week’s revelation of a special MGS4 PS3 console, yet another announcement has surfaced in regards to the highly anticipated Metal Gear Solid 4.
Gamestop has now started taking pre-orders for a Metal Gear Solid 4: Limited Edition package allowing fans of the series yet another option come launch day. This limited edition has yet to be announced in any press releases or statements from Konami or SCEA.
The Limited edition will arrive in a special collectible metal box, which will contain a Blu-ray with two Making of Documentaries of MGS4, as well as an interview with Hideo Kojima. The Blu-Ray will also include 4 chapters of the Digital Graphic Novel in addition to a Metal Gear Import Soundtrack CD.
The lucky few to reserve the Limited Edition will receive a Metal Gear Solid 4 art book in addition to all the goodies already mentioned. It is currently unknown whether or not this version of the game will include the Metal Gear Saga 2.0 DVD as well as the key code for access to the Metal Gear Online Beta.
The release of this Limited Edition version of Metal Gear Solid 4 is listed at the same time as the game itself, indicating a first for the franchise.
