The First Berserker: Khazan Details Reveal 80 Hours For True Ending, Three Weapon Types For Final Release

Fresh details on The First Berserker: Khazan have surfaced in a Reddit AMA with members of Nexon and Neople, which reveals a slew of info including playtime and DLC plans.

For starters, the team discussed its influences during the development of The First Berserker: Khazan, with the primary inspiration being Dungeon & Fighter. However, other games also influenced the game’s design, including Nioh, Sekiro, Ghost of Tsushima, Dark Souls, and Diablo.

Regarding playtime, an exact time is hard for the developers to pint down, but in order to achieve the True Ending, it’s estimated at around 80 hours. The recently-launched demo only represents 5% of the full game content. Missions can also be replayed, with levels for enemies and bosses remaining fixed and do not scale to the player’s level.

The team also touched briefly on DLC plans for The First Berserker, revealing that multiple game modes are under consideration but full plans and schedule have not been pinned down yet. Co-op is not available, but the game will include asynchronous content. The full version of The First Berserker: Khazan will include three weapon types — Dual Wield, Greatsword, and Spear — as seen in the demo. However, the team said that it is possible new weapon types may be released through DLC or other options.

The First Berserker: Khazan is due out on PS5 on March 27, 2025.
