Bigben Interactive has announced that The Fisherman: Fishing Planet is heading to PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One on October 17. The game will be available as a complete edition that eschews the microtransactions previously featured in the free-to-play version of the game, which has been downloaded by seven million players to date.
The Fisherman: Fishing Planet Coming To PS4
If you’re looking for a realistic fishing romp, then The Fisherman: Fishing Planet (as you’ve probably gathered by the name) is your best bet. The game includes 18 fishing locations to set up at and features 110 species of fish, each one featuring unique and realistic behaviour.
Furthermore, players can pick from over one thousand different tackles and baits to catch your prize, and locations are brimming with detail, from vegetation, lakes, and even dynamic weather.
Players can also take part in online competitions solo or with a mate in tow, and there’s Trophies to hoover up and a ranking system in place for bragging rights. You can also hop into four different types of boats, with varying performances in terms of engines and sonars to facilitate your efforts.
The Fisherman: Fishing Planet’s console release also features exclusive content, including a new fishing spot in the shape of France’s La Creuse, the trolling technique, four unique fish species, and a new motorboat.
