Geoff Keighley has revealed that this year’s The Game Awards will feature the reveal of a game that has been planned for 2.5 year, having last visited the developer behind the project back in Summer 2019.
Keighely was understandably keeping mum on any details, but did reveal that the world premiere will be something he has “been working on with a developer for 2.5 years.” He last visited studios around the world in Summer 2019, during which time he also contacted the studio responsible for the mystery project.
This year’s event will return to an in-person showcase in Los Angeles at the Microsoft Theatre, after last year had to ditch the live festivities due to the coronavirus pandemic.
